Premium Tapersawn Shake Home View admin

Here are some pictures of a cedar shake roof we are finishing up installing in Bellevue.  This homeowner chose the 5/8″ Premium Tapersawn shake.  These are Western Red Cedar Shakes by Imperial.  Tapersawn shakes are sawn on both sides and have a relatively smooth surface.  They appear thicker than a typical shingle which gives them a thicker shadowline.  The Tapersawn shakes come in thicknesses of either 5/8″, 7/8″ or 1″.
