We took this 41 year old roof and gave it new life! To provide a secure roof deck that will ensure a smooth and sturdy surface for the new shingle installation we started with new 1/2" CDX plywood. The customer chose a Landmark Premium shingle in Moire Black. The Premium shingles are part of the CertainTeed's Max Def color line for a more defined and richer color experience. A new cricket was built behind the chimney to help divert water away from one of the most vulnerable parts of any roof. The cricket coupled with new flashing and Chim-5 counter flashing add the right protection to keep any home water tight. This beautiful new roof is complemented by new TAM 2x4 skylights. A crystal clear, double paned, low e skylight is the perfect finishing touch to any new roof!
